The PriceWaterhouseCoopers - the world’s largest assurance (audit) company- has held a recruiments ceremony in 18/4/2008 at Legend Hotel. The first thing impresssed me was the number of the stars on the metal board in the front of the hotel’s entrance : FIVE – five lined stars.
They arraged me into the 20th table. I sat next to the man who has worked for Trang An Securities company. He graduated at UEH one year ago. Everyone seemed to be very experienced and good looking.
At the beginning, a trailer film a bout PwC was played on a wide screen. They introduced themselves and some of theirs social activities photos. I have noticed that the uniforms of the employees is the red T-shirt with the slogan " *connectedthinking" on the left-hand and the star-mark logo on the back ( it’s on the pen ) , it looked very dynamic. I wish I could wear it someday :D .
After that, an mid-age man spoke a welcome message to start the ceremony, he’a fun man. Then, a couple of MC played the main role and they introduced more abuot the company: the experience to apply for this job, the . Finally, a game was presented to make everyone understand about the importance of teamworking skill when they apply for this job. The team named "CwP" on the 23th table won the first prize. Everything is exciting!
After ceremony, we joined into a very small buffet party and were given some gift- a pen and a notebook with the PwC logo as you can see in the picture.
I think I’m fairy shy when being there. That’s a good chance for me to widen my relationship with the olders people but I lose it. Never mind!!! I’m still young and there are many opportunities waiting for me.
